According to the June 2002 issue of the Heil “Dealer Link” newsletter, the Ballards started out as a father-son team in 1994 and have now grown to a staff of eight.

“We’ve grown a man a year,” Brent said. “Every time I have hired somebody, it has been in the dead of winter. It’s easy to pick up some good help then, because a lot of people let good guys go during that time of the year when things are often slow.

“But with our new construction business, we’ve needed help in the middle of the winter. We’ve had more business in December and January than in June, July, and August.”
