SANTA FE, TX — Don and Brent Ballard of Affordable Air & Heat in Santa Fe, TX are last year’s leading seller of Heil products for Pameco-Southwest Division in this Gulf Coast region. They also have been growing their business one tech at a time.

According to the June 2002 issue of the Heil “Dealer Link” newsletter, the Ballards started out as a father-son team in 1994 and have now grown to a staff of eight.

“We’ve grown a man a year,” Brent said. “Every time I have hired somebody, it has been in the dead of winter. It’s easy to pick up some good help then, because a lot of people let good guys go during that time of the year when things are often slow.
