The TestoView is a lighted, fiber optic, visual inspection tool used for exploring inaccessible areas in hvac and industrial applications, the company says. Available in 18- and 36-in. lengths, typical applications include diagnosing blocked evaporator coils, examining heat exchangers from the inside, feeding thermostat wires, and checking for ductwork clearance, according to the manufacturer. The company says the TestoView is constructed of high-impact ABS housing, has flexible shafts, is waterproof, and stays in place for one-hand operation. A high-powered lens can focus on objects as close as 3/4 in. away.
