Testo Inc.: Carbon Monoxide Tester

The 317-3 CO Stick provides for fast and easy carbon monoxide (CO) testing, the manufacturer states. It measures and displays CO from 0 to 1,999 parts per million and gives warning of excessive levels with adjustable audible and visual alarms. Other features include hold and max settings and a self-check mode that verifies CO sensor response. This unit features a CO-concentration tick rate that can be turned on and off. The pocket-size CO meter weighs 9 ounces. It can be ordered in a kit that includes the meter, a soft case with a belt loop, earphone, wrist strap, two AAA batteries, and an instruction manual. The unit is available with a three-year sensor warranty, and two years on the instrument.
