GREENSBORO, N.C. - Tencarva Machinery Co. moved from 48th to 46th in the recent rankings by the national publication, Industrial Distribution, on its “Big 50” list of top U.S.-headquartered distributors, based on sales and earnings.

Tencarva’s 2006 sales increased to $124 million from $105 million through the efforts of more than 250 employees in the 22 branch offices across eight states where Tencarva operates.

“We are very pleased with our performance in 2006,” said Ed Pearce, Tencarva controller. “Our 2007 year is shaping up to be very good as the industrial sector continues to be strong, and we will have a full year of revenue from our two 2006 acquisitions.”
