The redesigned multipoise 90-plus percent AFUE SmartComfortâ„¢ VS 90 gas furnace has an internal trap installed in the furnace. It offers high-efficiency, two-stage operation and a variable-speed blower. A new ECM motor features the ability to use a PSC replacement motor in an emergency no-heat situation. The furnace is certified for one- or two-pipe venting. Features include stainless steel primary and secondary heat exchangers, a two-stage gas valve, and a two-stage ignition control. The units come with 24- and 115-volt connections for humidifier attachment. The furnace is offered in models with heating inputs ranging from 50,000 to 125,000 Btuh. The furnace is offered in four multi-position models: upflow, downflow, horizontal left, and horizontal right. LP gas conversion kits are available.
