The SmartComfort™ 2200 Series split-system air conditioners feature the Durawhisper™ top, constructed of a noncorrosive composite and designed to absorb sound. All models come standard with two-speed fan motors. The units are available in capacities from 1.5 to 5 tons. According to the manufacturer, each unit has an aerodynamic discharge system, which swirls air quietly through a circular fan orifice and pushes it gently up through the unit’s slanted top.
