The WiFi Edition temperature sensor is a device that monitors ambient temperature in the room and gives an alert via e-mail when the temperature rises or falls outside of the space’s acceptable range. The alert message can be sent continuously or just once when an alert is triggered. The sensor connects to a network and is powered by an included ac wall adapter; no computer is required. Real-time graphing and XML support provide the tools needed to integrate temperature readings into websites and other third-party applications. Features include choice of readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit and free software upgrades for one year. An optional weatherproof probe is available.
