MANCHESTER, NH — Teletrol Systems Inc., a leader in building automation technology, has announced the expansion of its national business partnerships with the addition of Duke Power to its list of Teletrol Authorized Systems Integrators.

Founded in 1904, Duke Power, a business unit of Duke Energy, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is one of the nation's largest electric utilities with approximately 2 million customers in North Carolina and South Carolina. Duke Power operates three nuclear generating stations, eight coal-fired stations, 31 hydroelectric stations, and numerous combustion turbine units, all covering a service area of 22,000 square miles in central and western North Carolina and South Carolina.

"The people we will be working with at Duke Power are well known and respected for their extensive experience in facility automation," said Joseph Klotz, Teletrol vice chairman and senior vice president. "The Teletrol products will give them the tools they need to develop high performance energy metering and management applications for their customers."
