The T-2000 Tec Trainer employs a dedicated PC-based control unit and electronic interface, integrated with a self-contained refrigerant system, in a compact and economical package, says the company. The trainer’s electronics, software drivers, and graphical user interface enable the system to reproduce mechanical refrigeration system operating conditions. Instructors can program in fault conditions and challenge student technicians to identify and troubleshoot root causes of operating problems.
