Vista® IV is the latest version of a LonWorks®-based building management software. This software combines environmental controls with facility and energy management features. It runs on TCP/IP and standard network equipment, and it provides LAN communication via Ethernet® or fiber optics. A modular client-server design allows facility managers to customize the software. Host workstations can communicate across the Internet, as well as in WAN/LAN environments. The company says that the software can be used for any building management application, no matter the size of the building, the number of buildings, or the number of miles between buildings.
