The company has introduced two new Minex® heat exchangers, the M4DW and M10DW. Manufactured with double plates that are laser-welded together around each porthole, these heat exchangers meet demands for double-wall security while delivering excellent thermal performance and operating economy, says the company. Advantages over equivalent shell-and-tube exchangers include compactness, low weight, easily adjusted heat transfer area, low hold-up volume, quick response time, and easy maintenance, says the manufacturer. The units are available in a choice of plate and gasket materials to meet the specification of each application, says the company.
