MORTON GROVE, Ill. - John Crane, a supplier of engineered sealing systems and associated products, has expanded John Crane Academy course offerings and locations for 2004. The academy was started in the early 1980s, and it is designed to train maintenance mechanics and rotating equipment engineers.

New sessions for 2004 will include topics on power generation, gas sealing for compressors, and pipeline technology. John Crane will also offer a two-day Sealing Systems Conference in Houston.

Besides offering new workshop courses, John Crane will begin offering its courses in more locations. Courses had been held at the company's training centers in Morton Grove, Ill., and Houston. John Crane branch offices located in Swedesboro, N.J., Cerritos, Calif., Baton Rouge, La., and Atlanta will now host the courses, also.
