The Environmentalist/Zero-Bleed 2000® is a chemical-free water treatment system that controls lime/scale and corrosion, eliminates bleed requirements, and reduces, if not totally eliminates, the need for bio-control treatment in cooling tower applications. It is totally self-contained and comes factory assembled on two separate skids, which can be bolted together at the installation site. The primary skid is identical to the one on the Environmentalist 2000® system, except the waste water from the bottom of the separator, which is normally purged to drain, is instead directed to a secondary skid-mounted system for reclaiming. The secondary skid has a second recirculating pump; a two-compartment reservoir tank, which has a main well and a sump well with a float-controlled pump; a sock filter with a strainer; and a second Superior Water Conditioner®.
