Peerless Series BT (building trades) pumps are designed for use in plumbing, hvac, and other building trade applications. The line consists of cast iron, bronze-fitted, single-stage, double-suction horizontal split-case pumps. Design features include a compact casing to save space; and mechanical seals that eliminate stuffing box leakage and make the unit capable of handling ethylene glycol solutions for chilled-water applications, and that work with temperatures to 225°F for hot water applications, the manu-facturer says.
