Spot Coolers will be on the bench - well, kind of - for Major League Baseball's 2005 All-Star Game, to be played in Detroit July 12. Actually, the company will be pitching cold air, so to speak, for ESPN. Spot Coolers, headquartered in Boca Raton, Fla., will be providing critical portable cooling for the network's production trailers and temporary office facility, which will be set up near Comerica Park, the home of the Detroit Tigers and site for this year's midsummer classic. The company said it has been providing such temporary cooling for major sports networks for 20 years, including for CBS, NBC, and ABC.
