The self-contained Safe Room System combines a modular isolation system with a multiphase filtration system to create a product aimed at protecting businesses and families against biological and chemical attacks, says the manufacturer. The room is constructed of rigid extruded aluminum and Lexan panels. The modular system features interlocking, numbered panels for installation purposes. The filtration system includes a prefilter; an absolute filter, rated at 99.9% efficiency against 0.3 micron dia DOP smoke; and a chemical filter. The filtration system can be installed to retrofit an existing room or fallout shelter. Available in four standard sizes, the Safe Room System is also available in custom sizes. Additional features available include ULPA filters, soft-wall construction, and professional setup.
