MoreNORMAN, Okla. - Source 1®, announced the recipients of its 2007 Source 1 Distributor of the Year awards. The regional winners are Aircon Engineering Inc., Cumberland, Md.; Indiana Supply, Indianapolis; Florida Airconditioning Distributors, Orlando, Fla.; Equipment Supply Distributors, Memphis, Tenn.; Refrigerative Supply Ltd., Burnaby, British Columbia; and the York branch of Johnson Controls Inc., Toronto.
The winning distributors earned their awards by compiling points based on their performance in 16 different categories. Each category looks at distributors’ use of advertising and promotional materials or their participation in a variety of marketing and training programs.
“A Source 1 Distributor of the Year award clearly sets distributors apart in their field, giving them special recognition among their peers and within the HVACR industry,” said Herb Batrouny, vice president, Johnson Controls-Unitary Products. “Distributor customers also benefit from the award. They receive top-notch training from the distributor, a high level of customer service, and a Source 1 store that provides all the right parts at the right price.”
The five independent distributors and the York branch of Johnson Controls will receive the first-ever Golden Sparky award statues during banquets to be held in their respective cities.
