The Talking Thermostatâ„¢ line has audio playback of indoor temperature and temperature setting, as well as step-by-step programming directions. These 5/2 programmable thermostats play the contractor's custom audio message when the Help button is pressed. This line of thermostats is designed to remind the user when to change the filter, replace the batteries, and call for service. Other features include 5/2 optional manual operation, quick program override, auto heat at 40 degrees F (5 degrees C), compressor short-cycling protection, and lit display. The units are available in single-stage gas and electric and two-stage gas/heat pump models.
