CHANTILLY, Va. - The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) College of Fellows is now receiving nominations of candidates for fellowship.

Applications may be submitted by any two SMACNA fellows, a majority of the national board of directors, a majority of a local chapter board of directors or by any two past presidents of SMACNA National. The deadline for the nominations is Feb. 29, 2008.

The SMACNA College of Fellows is also accepting scholarship applications for the 2008-2009 academic year. Scholarships are open to eligible students from the SMACNA extended family seeking to further their education. SMACNA’s extended family includes contractor members, employees of contractor members, chapter executives, national staff, associate members, members of the College of Fellows, and members of the families of any of these groups.
