SkillTech Announces Training Partnership

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — The Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) has announced that its SkillTech Academy has established a partnership with Alabama Power for the delivery of residential mechanical ventilation training in selected Southern states.

Four instructors from Alabama Power’s HVAC Training Center in Verbena, Ala., have successfully completed the SkillTech Academy Train the Trainer session for the Residential Mechanical Ventilation Installation training program and have become certified as instructors. As the first Delivery Partner for the training program in the United States, Alabama Power will offer the Residential Mechanical Ventilation certification course exclusively in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Mississippi.

The Residential Mechanical Ventilation training program covers the fundamentals of air quality assessment and system requirements, and focuses specifically on system design and installation.
