PHOENIX - A four-man team representing Sigler & Reeves, a supplier of commercial HVAC systems, captured first place in the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association, Arizona Chapter's (SMACNA Arizona) spring golf tournament, held recently at Stonecreek Golf Club in northeast Phoenix.

Taylor Reeves, Danny McCoy, Shawn Harlan, and Wane Quinn posted a score of 55 to beat a team from AZME, a manufacturer's representative for the HVAC industry, by one stroke. The AZME foursome included Dave Hart, Louie Sarracino, Mike Kearney, and Jerry Holdaway.

Third place went to a team representing York International, a manufacturer of HVAC systems. Team members were Joe Knies, David Cooper, Ron Olson, and Chris Mosbey, with a posted score of 60.

The goal of SMACNA Arizona's golf tournament is to allow association members and others in the HVAC and related industries to network and compete in a fun environment.

"SMACNA Arizona has taken a leadership position in the HVAC industry to encourage networking with others in the industry and to further the organization's commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence in all facets of the sheet metal and air conditioning industry," said Carol Goguen, SMACNA Arizona's executive director.
