Siemens Building Technologies, Inc.: DAMPER ACTUATORS

These two new damper actuators offer a small footprint along with high torque performance, says the company. The new OpenAir actuators — the GMA 62-lb-in. spring-return actuator and the GEB 132-lb-in. non-spring-return actuator — can be used in tight spaces. Being direct-coupled, they can be quickly installed without the need for connecting linkages, or easily mounted to the frame or floor of a damper, the company says. Both models provide precise flow control for hvac, quiet operation, and low power consumption, says the manufacturer.
