The family of Siemens Easy Drives (SED2) now offers the Advanced Operator Panel (AOP) option. The company says that the AOP is an advanced, powerful programming and diagnostic tool that offers the ability to upload and download parameters to multiple drives. It facilitates startup, diagnostics, and monitoring. Features include real-time clock function, network communications control of up to 31 variable-frequency drives from one location, storing of up to 10 parameter sets, and integrated scheduler function for implementation of day/night setback control. The AOP display can show English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, and Chinese, the company says.
