Sept. 30, 2005: Trane Announces Price Increases

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Trane, a business of American Standard Companies Inc., has announced price increases for its HVAC equipment sold in the Americas. Prices for most of Trane's light commercial, commercial unitary, and applied product lines will go up 2-5 percent. The new commercial unitary and applied pricing for the Americas is effective immediately.

Trane has also announced new prices for its equipment outside the Americas that will take effect December 1. In the Asia Pacific region, Trane will raise prices 1-2 percent on most product lines, and in Trane's Europe/Middle East/Africa/India region, a 1-5 percent price increase will be implemented.
