KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Ruskin announced that it has acquired NRG Industries Inc., a privately held company based in Carrollton, Texas, for an undisclosed amount. NRG will be integrated into Ruskin, part of the Air Systems Components Division of Tomkins.

Ruskin is a leading manufacturer of air and sound control products for the HVAC industry, and also has responsibility for Lau OEM fan products.

NRG is a multi-brand manufacturer of commercial HVAC accessories and systems with three operating subsidiaries: Rooftop Systems Inc., National Duct Systems Inc., and Glass Master Inc. Rooftop Systems manufactures commercial air conditioning products and accessories including free-cooling economizers, roof curbs, curb adapters, energy recovery ventilators, and concentric diffusers; National Duct Systems fabricates metal ductwork for sheet metal contractors; and Glass Master manufactures specialty equipment used for cutting, forming, and assembling fiberglass ductwork. Collectively, they represent annual sales of approximately $43 million dollars.
