CM honors went to Thomas Griffin of the John Spence Chapter in Montgomery, Ala.; Fisher Hutchens of the Tennessee Valley Chapter, Decatur, Ala.; and Russell Murray of the Coosa Valley Chapter in Anniston, Ala.
In the CMS category, Jerry Beach of the San Antonio Chapter passed the exam in heat pumps; Larry Lynn, an RSES regional director and member of the Middle Tennessee Chapter in Nashville, Tenn., passed the heat pump exam; Jimmy Abernathy, also of the Middle Tennessee Chapter, passed the exam in domestic service; Hugh Cole of the Five Star Chapter in Suwanee, Ga., passed the heat pump exam; and John Sweeney of the South Alabama Chapter, Opp, Ga., passed the heat pump exam.
The CM/CMS exam series originated in 1935 and have been updated and expanded over the years to reflect the most current HVACR technology.
