RSES Completes CD-ROM Program

DES PLAINES, Ill. - The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) has completed its Technical Institute HVACR Training Manual 3 Interactive CD-ROM program. The CD-based interactive training program, which was released in October 2003, has been completed and consists of 36 course lessons and 12 correlating CDs. This program, which previously has been available only by monthly subscription, is now available for purchase as a complete set.

The CD-based interactive program began three years ago with the release of disc one of the Technical Institute HVACR Training Manual 1 Interactive CD-ROM. Twelve discs were created for both Manual 1, and Manual 2.

Renee Tomlinson, RSES director of education and training, said, "The addition of the Interactive CD ROMs to the RSES Technical Institute Manual series has helped to enhance the self-study program for technicians participating in the courses and has served as an educational tool for instructors utilizing the program in the classroom."

To order the CD-ROM set, contact the Logistics Branch at RSES by calling 800-297-5660 or 847-297-6464. It also can be purchased online by visiting www.rses.org and clicking on "Online Bookstore" and then "Online Store."
