The Barrier® Glider is a thermal air sealing, high-speed cold storage door. Applications include refrigerated warehouses, food manufacturing/processing plants, and grocery distribution centers. The Thermal Air™ sealing system inflates six-inch diameter conforming fabric ducts to seal the perimeter of the biparting door and creating a pressurized seal. The ducts bathe the surrounding floor, door, and mechanisms with moving air to prevent ice buildup. The door's flexible, insulated panels, in combination with its tubular track and hourglass roller mechanical design, withstand common industrial impacts without bending or seal damage, the company states. Options include high-security, locking fiberglass panels and a 12- by 24-inch transparent vision panel and an accompanying blower for reducing fogging and condensation buildup.
