Marandola Mechanical was founded in 1946 as a residential plumbing-heating contracting company. Today the contractor handles a wide variety of industrial, commercial, and institutional mechanical projects.
Marandola has been active in the association on the national and local levels. Nationally, he has been a member of MCAA’s board of directors since 1998. He also served as chairman of the Government Affairs Committee, as a member of the Education/Convention Committee, and was on the 1996 Resolutions Committee.
On the local level, he is president of the New England MCA and has served as that chapter’s vice president and director. He served as president of the RI MCA before it merged with the New England group. He also participated in forming the local chapter of the Mechanical Service Contractors of America.
In addition, Marandola has served as chairman of the Labor Relations Committee for Local Union 51 and as chairman of the Health and Welfare Committees for Local Unions 28 and 476. He also served as chair of the Apprenticeship Committees for those local unions. This is all in addition to his numerous civic activities.
