The Refrigerant Management System (RMS) enables contractors to accurately monitor and track their refrigerant usage, measuring the amount of refrigerant a technician adds to a refrigeration system. The system’s integrated computer collects this data, making it available both locally and remotely, for easy record-keeping. It helps retailers maintain compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency’s Section 608 regulations. Leak rates are automatically calculated as refrigerant is added to a refrigeration system over time. The system also serves as a maintenance-tracking platform. Service technicians responding to a service call may easily log the symptoms, cause, and actions taken in the RMS’ database. Not only does this provide a standardized, easy-to-read maintenance log for other service technicians visiting the site, but the data may also be transmitted to a centralized database, for archiving, logging, trending, and analysis. It may also be used with ProAct® software for maintenance tracking and remote access.
