DAVENPORT, Iowa - The wholesale distributor Republic Co. presented 14 dealers with its 2010 Dealer Awards during the company’s 95th Anniversary Dealer Summit. Each of the dealers represents the York or Luxaire brand of equipment from Johnson Controls.

Awards in four categories - 2010 Dealer of the Year, Excellence in Marketing, Outstanding Growth, and Outstanding Dealer - were presented during an awards dinner at the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort, Riverside.

Luxaire dealer Total Maintenance Inc., Bettendorf, Iowa, received the 2010 Dealer of the Year award. Criteria for the award included: exclusivity to the York or Luxaire brand; participation in Liberties Plus programs; strategic use of co-op funds; excellence in financial responsibilities; technical expertise; low warranty return; and purchases in fiscal year 2010.

The Excellence in Marketing award went to York dealer Ingersoll Plumbing & Heating Inc.

Republic recognized one dealer in each of three territories with its Outstanding Growth award: Independence Plumbing Heating & Cooling Inc., Prier Brothers Inc., and Doug’s Heating & Air Conditioning.
