The natural fiber duct liner is designed for use in HVAC sheet metal ducts to absorb unwanted noise from multiple sources, to reduce heat loss or gain, and to provide low air resistance. This duct liner is now available in blue. Each natural fiber is treated with a nontoxic, fire, mold, and pest inhibitor, then thermally bonded. According to the manufacturer, the density of this duct liner offers performance comparable to fiberglass liners. The duct liner's airstream surface is covered with a fire-resistant black facing that is designed to reduce airflow resistance.
