The Q3RTUâ„¢ remote terminal unit, which is designed for the Q3BMSâ„¢ building management system, provides direct digital control over all the environmental control functions on a rooftop HVAC system. This package reduces operating expenditures by precise zone temperature and humidity control, and provides a sensor display for maintenance and customer information. Up to 16 different HVAC systems with Q3RTU can be networked back to the Q3BMS controller. At the same time, the remote terminal unit can be a stand-alone HVAC controller. Combined with the Q3BMS, the unit is capable of providing environmental monitoring and control of HVAC, lighting, refrigeration, utility power, generator, intrusion alarming, and door access control and equipment failure alarming.
