Enersave is an energy-savings program to reduce outside air requirements in commercial buildings without compromising indoor air quality, states the company. In buildings faced with occupancy changes or chiller redesign, the company will replace existing particulate filters with Purafilters, evaluate the building, and provide the calculations and help needed to comply with ASHRAE 62’s IAQ procedure. The Purafilter™ contains potassium permanganate and other specialized media for contamination control. For new applications, Enersave reduces overall equipment sizing and provides a balance of energy savings and proper ventilation, the company says.
