Pumps.org Website Re-Launched

PARSIPPANY, N.J. - The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has announced the re-launch of its pump industry Website, www.pumps.org.

Visitors may access an array of free downloads, reference materials, pump definitions, pump diagrams, information on upcoming events, and news. An online Supplier Finder allows users to search for manufacturers by a variety of criteria including product description, brand name, or market. Prospective members can learn more about the Hydraulic Institute and the services it offers in the Membership section. A membership brochure and application forms are available for download. Additionally, visitors can now access HI’s extensive library of PumpFAQs® - a series of question and answer articles on a variety of topics published as a service to pump users, contractors, distributors, reps, and OEMs on subjects of common technical concern.

“With a wealth of pump and systems information, from ANSI/HI pump standards to guidebooks and educational resources to tips on saving energy,” said Mary Silver, HI’s member services and technology manager, “the newly-launched site fully supports the Institute’s vision, ‘to be a global authority on pumps and pumping systems.’”

Users can purchase ANSI/HI pump standards and guidelines, books, and educational materials at the newly designed e-Store, accessible from the home page at www.pumps.org or directly at estore.pumps.org. Users may browse the products by category or locate a publication through the e-Store search function. Orders may be placed online, using this secure site, or visitors may download forms to place orders by phone or fax.

Designed in conjunction with its family of Websites, www.pumpsystemsmatter.org and www.pumplearning.org, HI said that www.pumps.org features an updated look and improved navigation to help visitors quickly find what they need. The file folder navigation is designed to facilitate transfer across the family of Websites. Drop-down menus, breadcrumbs, and left-side navigation let visitors see where they have been and where they want to go on the site. Also, www.pumps.org includes a more advanced internal search engine to provide users with comprehensive access to site content.

The Hydraulic Institute is a trade association for pump manufacturers and suppliers. For more information, visit www.pumps.org.
