May 17, 2004: Forecast For Gasoline Prices Rises Sharply

  • Marley Cooling Technologies (Overland Park, Kan.) announced a surcharge of up to 15 percent in North America on all factory-assembled cooling towers containing stainless steel materials, effective March 1.

  • Nordyne (O'Fallon, Mo.) will increase its prices by 3 percent, effective April 5. The increase will be implemented across the company's residential, light commercial, international equipment, and parts product lines. Furthermore, the manufactured housing line of air conditioners and heat pumps will increase 3 percent, while the manufactured housing furnace product line will incur a price increase of 5 percent.

  • York International Corp. (York, PA) announced a price increase ranging from 2 percent to 3 percent for Engineered Systems equipment, effective April 1. This increase covers air-handling units, water- and air-cooled chillers, packaged rooftop units, and terminal products.
