Powercold Starts Project Management Program

LARGO, Fla. - PowerCold Corp. announced the startup of a national design-build project management services program. The company has expanded the operations of its Applied Building Technology (ABT) division to supply complete turnkey design-build project management services for major national hotel, restaurant, and retail chains.

ABT will coordinate and manage the design, engineering, and extended service for new and retrofit building projects, including HVAC equipment, building automation controls, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and permitting. The company will rely on the construction trades industry to build, install, and service projects using general contractors and mechanical contractors that are members of PowerCold's National Associates Alliance.

Dean Stadtlander, vice president and director of PowerCold's ABT division, commented, "ABT will provide a single point of contact for our customers. Retrofit projects or large national rollout programs can be handled without the need for in-house design and project management staff. Synergies provided by having national design, supplier, and construction partners reduce cost and increase the efficiency of building programs."

PowerCold ComfortAir Solutions President Robert Yoho said, "ABT effectively positions us to become the preferred provider for national hotel, restaurant, and retail customers."
