According to PowerCold, Polaris will initially manufacture a specialty line of private label four-pipe fancoils and air handlers designed for use in commercial buildings. Primary application is for PowerCold’s Ultimate Comfort Systems design and spec hotel systems. Each guest room requires a fancoil unit and an air-handler system for the common public area, used for heating, air conditioning, and humidity control. PowerCold said that the application will reduce product costs over current fancoils and air handlers purchased from outside vendors.

In addition to the manufacturing relationship, PowerCold plans to use Polaris’ dealer network throughout Mexico to market its proprietary line of Nauticon™ evaporative condensers and Ultimate Comfort Systems patented HVAC air treatment system for new and retrofit construction of hotels and commercial buildings.
