The line of two- and three-way, normally open and closed, low-power solenoid valves have inlet pressure ratings ranging up to 500 psi. They are available in 1/8- and 1/4-inch NPT pipe ports, 3/8-inch copper sweat tubing or with provisions for manifold mounting. According to the manufacturer, they are ideally suited for air conditioning, refrigeration, and refrigerant recovery-recycling. Orifice sizes range from 1/32 to 1/4 inches. Spade terminals, lead wires or conduit connections for standard ac or dc voltages are available, as well as compact stainless steel, brass, and aluminum manifolds with up to eight inlet ports. Some models have built-in back-pressure designs, which eliminate redundant check valves by stopping possible refrigerant leakage during servicing.
