Pennsylvania Contractor Wins ACCA Web Award

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has announced the winners of its second annual "Best Contractors on the Web" Internet Marketing Awards.

"The judging process was made difficult by the sheer quality of the finalists' Web sites," said Kevin W. Holland, ACCA's vice president for Communications & Membership Services. "Out of the dozens of entrants, the nine finalists in two categories were uniformly excellent in their approach to creating useful Web sites that are designed to market their products and services."

The winner of the 2004 ACCA "Best Contractors on the Web" award in the Commercial Category is Shapiro & Duncan of Rockville, Md. The company's site, at www.shapiroandduncan.com, was described as an "overall super job" with "fantastic use of testimonials" and "very graphic friendly" with "plenty of good information," according to the judges.

"ACCA sincerely congratulates the winners, but all of the finalists are to be commended for their commitment to quality and professionalism," said Paul T. Stalknecht, president and CEO of ACCA.
