The Series PSCII gas-fired, direct vent, sealed combustion boiler for residential applications is Energy Star® compliant and has an AFUE of up to 86 percent. Available for either natural or LP gas, the boiler comes fully packaged and ready to install in any hot water heating application. The boiler is designed for through-the-wall direct venting; a sidewall thimble with screened vent termination is provided and requires only one hole in the outside wall. Through the roof venting is also an option. The Series PSCII boiler is equipped with standard Honeywell SmartValve® intermittent ignition. Only when there is a need for heat does the ignition light the pilot, keeping costs low and eliminating the need for extra wiring and separate controls. Also standard on the PSCII boiler are a condensate drain elbow, Honeywell operating controls, and Taco circulator. The boiler is available in four sizes (three to six sections), with inputs from 65 to 150 MBtuh.
