As part of the festivities, the two companies made a $5,000 donation, on behalf of the attending Luxaire dealers, to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, a global charitable organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Luxaire, its dealers and distributors have supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation since the fall of 2001, with every purchase of Luxaire equipment contributing to Luxaire’s $250,000 annual contribution to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
“This particular grant was a complete surprise to us. It’s above and beyond our partnership agreement with Luxaire,” said Pat Greenway, president and CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kansas. “We are thrilled to be associated with a great brand like Luxaire and a great company like Johnson Controls.”
“The meetings were a unique opportunity to bring together representatives from both organizations and launch a brand-new era for US Air as the Luxaire distributor for the southwestern region,” said Stefani. “Everyone came away from the meetings feeling energized about this promising partnership.
