LITTLE CANADA, Minn. - Nexstar Network, a business development and best practices organization that delivers business training, systems, and support to independent home service providers, has announced the selection of Cube Six Inc., Matthews, N.C., as a strategic partner. Under their agreement, Cube Six will offer its ServMan enterprise management system as the preferred solution to Nexstar’s 400+ members in the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service industries.

According to Nexstar, it chose ServMan as the most comprehensive enterprise software package available for managing a service business. Susan Tigner, Nexstar’s strategic partner manager, said, “This has been a long and exhaustive process on our end and we are very happy with our final decision and are excited for the future. ServMan software is the most powerful, flexible, and easiest to use solution for operating and managing service-based and new construction businesses that we investigated. ServMan is a fully integrated enterprise system that manages all aspects of your business, from the initial customer call until your money is in the bank.”

ServMan’s architecture is said to be highly adaptive through an Integrated Development Environment (IDE). This adaptability is being leveraged by Nexstar to offer special features in ServMan that will be created exclusively for its members. Cube Six’s director of business development, Bill Loelius, said, “ServMan’s Nexstar package will incorporate best-practice workflows through custom-designed wizard interfaces for client management and order processing. In addition, Nexstar’s proprietary benchmarking, coaching, tracking, and financial tools and reports will be generated directly within the ServMan application. These exclusive modules, as well as a streamlined implementation package for Nexstar members, make ServMan a very attractive solution in this market. Demand for our software has skyrocketed since demonstrating ServMan at the October 2008 Nexstar Super Meeting in Seattle. We are now receiving a steady stream of inquiries from Nexstar members seeking to upgrade their systems.”

ServMan is designed to track the utilization of people, inventory, and equipment; automate scheduling and dispatching; and provide an accounting solution for service companies in many vertical markets. The application also provides an optional integrated mobile solution to help foster an efficient, paperless service work environment, as well as Web interface and GPS integration options.
