ST. LOUIS - Emerson Climate Technologies has announced an upgraded Critical Compressor Locator for contractors. The improved online compressor locator tool includes a new radius search function, allowing contractors to more quickly and easily find the compressor that they are looking for within their local area.

“In our industry, a contractor’s time is extremely valuable,” said Bob Labbett, vice president, marketing, Emerson Climate Technologies Distribution Services Division. “This improved compressor locator tool will allow our customers to save time with a simplified compressor search that provides them with the information that they need at the precise moment that they need it.”

The upgraded Critical Compressor Locator allows contractors to check the inventory of a specific Copeland® compressor at Emerson Full-Line or Authorized Copeland Wholesaler locations across the United States. Its database contains over 100 compressors that have recently been introduced to the market, including Copeland Scroll® and Copeland reciprocating models, as well as Copeland Scroll Digital™ models used in food service, grocery, and convenience store applications.

The online tool is available 24 hours a day, so that contractors can locate inventory after hours, helping them decrease critical equipment downtime for their customers. The new radius search function also makes searching more convenient for contractors who are close to state borders.
