The new version of the Arctic Aire portable air conditioning unit is available in 1 to 5 tons. The unit has a programmable electronic temperature controller and a 55 degree to 85 degree F setpoint. It has a 5-gallon condensate tank with a shut-off switch; the 5-ton unit has a condensate pump. Other features include quiet reverse-curved blowers; high-efficiency rotary or scroll compressor; six automatic fan speeds; washable air filters; an hour meter; a pitched drain pan; and moisture control. According to the manufacturer, optional heating provides true environmental control.
