Obituary: James J. Kehoe

DOWNINGTOWN, Pa. - James J. Kehoe, 76, died on Aug. 12, surrounded by his loving family. He opened his own business, The Kehoe Co., in 1978, and worked as a manufacturers’ representative for 25 years in the HVAC field.

He was the son of the late Thomas and Catherine Kehoe. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a graduate of St. John’s University in New York City.

According to his family, Kehoe spent his life in sales and played golf as often as possible.

He is survived by his wife Julia (Guth) Kehoe, to whom he was married for 49 years; daughter Kathleen Kehoe Fagan; son Matthew James Kehoe; and granddaughters Hayley and Maeve. He was preceded in death by seven brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to Simpson Meadows, Caring Friends Fund, 101 Plaza Drive, Downingtown, Pa. 19335; or to a charity of the donor’s choosing.
