MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) signed a contribution agreement with Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) that will once again provide financial assistance to those attending SkillTech Academy’s residential training programs. The contribution agreement will be in effect until March 31, 2009, and course participants will be eligible for a $200 subsidy per course. Individuals planning to complete the five SkillTech training programs required for HRAI’s Residential Air System Design or Residential Hydronics Design Designation can save as much as $1,000 in course fees.

The combined course schedule for the fall of 2008 and winter/spring of 2009 has been prepared and distributed to the entire HRAI membership. Note that the NRCan funding is once again limited and will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis. To be confident of receiving the $200 subsidy, HRAI urges those interested to register as soon as possible for all courses that they may wish to attend. The complete course schedule is posted on HRAI’s Website under SkillTech Training.
