According to the association, with a few clicks of a mouse, this new feature allows PHCC members to connect with their legislators quickly and easily. To access the feature, go to the PHCC Web site at www.phccweb.org and click on the link "Write to Your Member of Congress" that appears under Quick Links in the right-hand column of the page. Relevant legislative information and action alerts will be displayed, including sample letters that can be e-mailed to lawmakers.

The site allows members to revise a sample letter prior to sending it to his or her legislator. It also provides a list of media (by zip code) to target for letters to the editor campaigns. The new link will also provide a relative ranking or vote score of each legislator based on actual votes taken of interest to the plumbing-heating-cooling industry during recent sessions of Congress.
