Nordyne Builds New Distribution Center

BOONVILLE, Mo. - Construction is underway for a new Nordyne distribution center. The international heating-cooling system manufacturer broke ground recently for the new center in Boonville, which will support its HVAC manufacturing plant in Boonville and Tipton, Mo.

The center is expected to create between 30 and 35 jobs in the area and will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the company said. The facility will be approximately 150,000 square feet with possible expansion to 210,000 square feet.

Attendees at the ground breaking ceremony included Boonville Mayor Danielle Blanck; Sarah Gallagher, Boonville Economic Development; Ned Beach, Boonville Economic Development Board president; Terry Stieve, Colliers, Turley, Martin & Tucker; David LaGrand, Nordyne CEO and president; Joe McHugh, Nordyne chief financial officer; and Michael Nix, Nordyne, vice president of operations.

The manufacturer's other facilities include the corporate headquarters and research and development center in O'Fallon, Mo., and manufacturing sites in Poplar Bluff, Tipton, and St. Peters, Mo., and Dyersburg, Tenn.
