Nibco: Press-To-Connect Fittings

The manufacturer's Press System™ is a package of press-to-connect copper fittings and valves. Designed for potable water, mechanical HVAC, and process water applications, the package is an alternative to traditional solder joinery methods. The Press System consists of 1/2- through 2-inch fittings; 1/2- through 2-inch gate, globe, check, angle, and ball valves; and all of the standard valve handle options. The company says the system is designed to be joined using Ridgid® brand pressing tools and one of its own customized jaw sets. The press-to-connect copper joinery system features copper and dezincification-resistant brass alloy and an EPDM O-ring seal. It is suitable for use with K, L, and M wall copper tube.
